IEEE Algeria Section

IEEE - Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - aims to establish links and exchanges between electrical and electronic engineers in several research fields such as computer science, robotics, artificial intelligence, medical and biological engineering, aerospace, geosciences and remote sensing, telecommunication, etc. The technical activities of the IEEE are organized in the form of thematic societies whose members are grouped in Chapters within the Section.

The main objective of the initiators of the project to join the IEEE is the creation of an Algerian Section in order to gather all the Algerian competencies within several fields related to electronics and electrical engineering.

Three new thematic chapters have been created in 2022 and others are in the process of being created during the year 2023. These chapters are affiliated with several IEEE Societies (Visit the IEEE Algeria Section Chapters).
One Student branch was reinstalled and a new student branch was created in 2022.

We are looking forward to forming new chapters, student branches, chapter student branches, and affinity groups during the year 2023.
